I get asked to do photoshoots a lot for people visiting Sonoma, and honestly, who can blame them? It’s such a stunning place to visit, with its picturesque vineyards, rolling hills, and, of course, the perfect weather that makes outdoor photography so magical. So when Jody reached out to me to photograph her family, I was thrilled. Her family was staying at an absolutely gorgeous Airbnb in Sonoma, and it was the ideal spot for capturing some beautiful moments.

The session was extra special because Jody brought together her four children, their spouses or partners, and her first grandchild—such a beautiful, multi-generational family! The love and connection between them all was so evident, and it was such a joy to capture. The Airbnb they rented was incredible—set on sprawling grounds that provided a variety of backdrops for our shoot, from lush greenery to charming architectural details. It was honestly a photographer’s dream.

I have to say, this family was not only lovely but also incredibly stylish, and their outfits really elevated the entire shoot. The way they coordinated without being overly matchy-matchy made for some truly striking photos, and you’ll see what I mean when I share some of the shots. The connection between them all, along with the stunning setting, made for some truly timeless memories.
